Moto Aventures Andorra Tour, June 30 - July 6 2007

49
Paul posing on the top of the black peak.
50
Looking down from the black peak. Again, the pictures don't do reality justice here.
51
One thing that spoiled the view from the black peak was a red car which had made its way up there, although it did provide a reference of size in the shot.
52
Again, the scenery... Wow!
53
Unfortunately Martin had a flat tire going up the black peak so Jens returned back down to fix it, and we had to leave the peak too soon to follow John's group down.
54
Good thing with tour guides; you don't have to fix the bike yourself... :-) Jens seems to have done this once or twice before.
55
Day three was a day off, so Nina, Martin and myself went to Andorra La Vella for some shopping.
56
This shot from day four shows a fairly typical dirt-road on the tour; rocky, winding, dusty and either going down or up a mountain side.
57
Being a bit early for lunch on day four, we stopped at a ghost town with a small church. Adrian is standing in the doorway as Jens is heading up the bell tower.
58
After an, at times, uncertain climb on an old wooden staircase, we reached the top of the bell tower. Martin prefers sitting on one of the sturdy stone walls.
59
Some needs for fixing the roof...
60
Nice place to build a church. Some parts of the ghost town can be seen in the lower parts of the shot.
61
Someone's forgotten to clean the streets.
62
It turned out that the ghost town wasn't as exciting as we first thought; it was abandoned when industrialisation came to the region in the '50ies-'60ies.
63
Enjoying some ice cream after an excellent lunch of lamb chops and home made chips again up in a small village in the Spanish Pyrenees on day four.
64
Day for was really hot, so most of us sought shadow. Not Nina, though...
